If you feel like you’re carrying more than your load with your cleaning group please communicate and ask for help. I know no one intentionally is blowing off helping out, sometimes we just need it brought to our attention that we could be more helpful. Don’t build resentments, ask for help.
make sure you’re setting the alarm
I know it’s tough to be the last one at the salon but setting the alarm is a crucial part of the safety of the building. It only takes 1 minute to set it before you leave.
If you’re second to last do your friends a favor and lock them in and make sure all unused areas are shut down (lights off, towel warmer off) so your friend can leave easily when they are done.

I’d love to keep the office and upstairs room shut completely. Alison will have keys to both areas if for some reason you’d like to use the rooms for photos.
NOTICE SOMETHING IS LOW?
All inventory shortages can be reported to Alison. This includes, toiletries, general cleaning supplies and salon products. She will send the note along to me and I will get replenished.
ANNUAL RENT INCREASE
Rent will go up August 1st as our overhead rent will also be increasing. We have also taken on more costs throughout the building as the only tenant, so all utilities are now covered by Meraki.
AUGUST 1st rent: $330/week
I’m also working on pulling us away from quickbooks and running the invoicing through NOVO. I’m hoping by doing so we can dissolve the transaction fee. I’m still looking into that.
